Reflections on Realising a Next Generation of Trade

As part of events to mark its 10th anniversary during 2019, IHRB hosted a major event on the future of international trade in an era of rising populism and protectionism.

Held at the Museum of London Docklands on 3rd December, the event brought together leading thinkers, decision-makers, practitioners, and those they directly affect, to discuss how to achieve a more principled, people-centred global economy.

As a follow up to the event, we invited some speakers and participants to give their take on the impact and outcomes of the discussions and what work remains toward achieving a next generation of trade fit for the 21st century.
