Experiences of Multistakeholder Governance: Strategies for the Conservation and Protection of Ecosystems and Livelihoods in Coastal Cities

A multi-stakeholder discussion on the governance at national and international levels of critical ecosystems in coastal cities, eg mangroves. This session will explore human rights approaches to compliance within the blue economy in the context of climate change and biodiversity. 

Challenges and opportunities will be identified for coordination regarding the protection and recovery of strategic ecosystems to strengthen multistakeholder governance.
