Global Forum for Responsible Recruitment 2025

Overview

Join the leading forum for accelerating fair, ethical, and responsible recruitment of migrant workers.

IHRB's Global Forum for Responsible Recruitment (GFRR) is a two-day event that brings together businesses, civil society, trade unions, government, and academia to discuss the global agenda on responsible recruitment.

2025’s forum is the eighth in the series and will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, between 20-21st May 2025.

The transformative use of data and technology will be a major focus at this year's forum. Discussions will focus on how different datasets from a variety of stakeholders, many of which are extensive, but often siloed, can be brought together and leveraged to drive systemic change in recruitment practice.

The agenda and speakers will be announced soon on our dedicated event platform: www.gfrr.org

The Forum provides:

  • Thought leadership: Taking stock and nurturing ideas to achieve better recruitment regulation and practices and eradicate worker-paid recruitment fees.
  • Convening: A global marketplace that inspires and enables uptake of improved recruitment commitments, practices, and outcomes by the diversity of actors involved.
  • Networking: Connecting diverse organisations and their networks to accelerate progress around this collective mission.
  • Shared learning: Amplifying expertise to scale uptake and empower all to shape a responsible, sustainable, fair, and ethical recruitment industry for migrant workers.
