Driving Responsible Recruitment in South East Asia
IHRB's Leadership Group for Responsible Recruitment together with The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) are pleased to host two regional roundtables focused on driving responsible recruitment in South East Asia:
- 20th March 2018: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
- 22nd March 2018: Bangkok, Thailand
These practical roundtables offer a rare opportunity for brands, suppliers, and recruitment agencies to come together for constructive discussion on transitioning to the Employer Pays Principle in migrant worker recruitment with the objective that "no worker pays for a job".
These are sessions where we want representatives to roll up their sleeves, share their thoughts openly, and identify the roadblocks, implications, and opportunities in shifting to a new recruitment model. A model that will benefit workers across the region and meet corporate objectives for ethical recruitment.
Each roundtable will be tailored to the local context, and include expert input and practical learnings from those directly engaged in different stages of the migration cycle.
During the week, CGF and IHRB will also be holding a number of side events, meetings, working groups, and trainings. This will allow for a full week of activities helping drive forward commitments on responsible recruitment.
The roundtables are by invitation only. If you are a representative of a brand, supplier, or recruitment agency, please contact neill.wilkins [at] ihrb.org to express your interest.
