A passionate advocate for human rights, climate resilience, and sustainable change, she excels in building collaborations with a diverse range of stakeholders always with a strong commitment to social equity a justice.


Current Work

In her role as the Europe Programme Manager for the Built Environment team, Andreia oversees the programme's daily operations. Her responsibilities include policy research and advocacy, and she works with governments, investors, and businesses to instil a socially equitable approach in built projects. Andreia is deeply committed to cultivating a strong network that is geared towards bringing about a transformation in Europe's built environment, and she actively represents IHRB Nordic at various forums.


Before IHRB

Prior to her role at IHRB, Andreia held several roles and led a variety of projects spanning the public, private, and non-profit sectors. These roles involved managing international projects and conducting research in the built environment, with a strong focus on social justice, human rights, and sustainability. Andreia holds a BSc in Environmental Engineering and two MSc (Eng) degrees in Land Use and Environmental Impacts, and Sustainable Cities from Nova University of Lisbon and Aalborg University.
