Andrew Anderson

Chair, Peace Brigades International

Andrew Anderson has over 30 years experience of international human rights work including, before his retirement, as Executive Director of Front Line Defenders, which provides practical support to at-risk human rights defenders around the world. He is a former Director of Campaigning and Director of the Africa Program at the International Secretariat of Amnesty International. He has served on a number of charity Boards and was the founding Chair of The EU's human rights defender mechanism ProtectDefenders.eu  Andrew has recently taken up the role of Chair of the Board of Trustees of PBI(UK).
