Pia Rudolfsson Goyer

Former Senior Advisor, Council on Ethics, Norwegian Government Pension Fund


Pia Rudolfsson Goyer is a human rights lawyer and has worked in the field of business and human rights since late 1990s. She started her career at the human rights departement of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden, and worked after that for nine years at the faculty of law at the University of Oslo. Between 2007 and 2018, she worked as Senior Advisor at the secretariat of the Council on Ethics of the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global. The Council on Ethics is an independent advisory council that issues recommendations to the Norwegian Central Bank on exclusions of companies that have activities in violation of the Fund's ethical guidelines.

Since late 2018, Pia runs her own consulting company primarily focusing on providing guidance and education on human rights due diligence for corporations and investors. She also holds a part-time position as Head of Secretariat for Norsif – Norwegian Forum for Responsible and Sustainable Investment.
