Sidsela Nyebak

Sustainability expert

Sidsela Nyebak is a leading sustainability/ESG professional in Norway with extensive experience from large Norwegian corporations and international multi-stakeholder initiatives. As head of sustainability in Statkraft, she led a team of sustainability experts working to implement and integrate new requirements and good practices across the organisation, including the introduction of the Norwegian Transparency Act. In Telenor, she was responsible for the strategy and approach to human rights,  including implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights in a telecommunications context. She has also managed partnerships with international organisations, looking at how to use mobile phones and connectivity for social good using big data analysis. Prior to joining the Telenor Group, Sidsela worked at PA Consulting Group in Oslo and the European Public Health Alliance in Brussels. Sidsela holds an MSc in European Politics and Governance and a BSc in International Relations, both from the London School of Economics (LSE).
