The Proposed EU Directive on Non-Financial Reporting

In April 2013, the European Commission adopted a proposed Directive on Non-Financial Reporting to enhance transparency of company reporting on social and environmental issues.
This IHRB submission offers comments and suggested amendments to the proposed Directive in order to better integrate requirements for businesses across the EU to report on their social, environmental and human rights impacts within their annual company reports.
